Thanks for the explanation but I still find it distracting.

H6D-100c

Captured in Switzerland at the Trummelbach falls, a well deserved UNESCO world heritage site.

Cheers,
Bernard

Really? Too bad I didn't know. :-)

The place is spectacular, albeit a bit touristy. We were staying within walking distance so I could get there early.

In fact the whole Lauterbrunnen valley is spectacular, I would say easily world class. I was surprised to find out that Swiss friends had never visited it either.

In my view it belongs to the same club as Yosemite for instance.

Cheers,
Bernard

Bernard, image #1! Where is this?

That is above Brienz, still in the Interlaken area of Switzerland.

This image is called Spotted Aspens. I shot this scene back in 2009. These trees have now died, the trees are now black and falling over.

Bernard, very interesting. The houses looked chalet-like, but the mountains - odd-looking.
??? Well, all mountains look a little odd to this flat-lander...

Indeed, they make for a spectacular sight. But the whole area is spectacular.

Loved the scene too. I have another version with the bottom cropped out. ;)
