Did you take the same shot with the Z7 as well, by chance?

No I didn't. It was raining pretty heavily, I was trying to keep the Hasselblad reasonnably dry. ;)

Before my grandmother passed away, she gave me an old suitcase full of things that had belonged to my grandfather.  All of these were his, except the letter is a prop.

Ok, definitely falls into fun with medium format on shooting these cars for the Barrett Jackson auction.  I am sure there is a long list of ways in which I have incorrectly lit them, my first time to ever shoot any cars.  I have 8 more to shoot, so hopefully I will improve as I go.

Those looks great. Nice work! Did you have that nice clear background to shoot or did you fix it in post? When ever I get to shoot cars they are usually in a terrible cramped space with lots of clutter (garage).

Thanks Matt!  I did have to clean the back wall up some in post.  My biggest challenge was getting enough distance between myself and the car to use a focal length that would not distort too much.

Yes, I feel your pain there. It seemed to work out!

Went out before work this morning. Sunrise was kind of subdued today but still not bad.

I just love the classical Japanese esthetic, the simplicity and the proper respect for materials used. Thanks, Bernard.
