Going Places
« on: November 18, 2014, 10:38:22 am »

The day I made this shot (Saturday), there were so many birds flittering to and fro, it was almost impossible to focus on one long enough to get a shot without another one cutting through the scene. Out of 35 pans, this was the only one I slipped in and only because I did a reverse, right to left pan, catching the Egret as he moved left to right. Tricky shot and depends heavily on dumb luck...lots of it  ;D

I was shooting at 6fps and pretty much made about 24 frames. Getting the eye, which is good but not perfect is as much dumb luck as skilled shooting :-)
