Big Island of Hawaii Sunrise

Had the privilege of staying in Hawaii for a vacation with my wife's family. I took quite a few pictures, but this is the one that I believe I am putting on the wall. Any feedback is appreciated. I'm pretty new to (serious) photography, and there is much here to be inspired by.

It is worth hanging on a wall. A nice composition. However I find the burnt out white in the sun to be distracting. If you have PS skills it is worth infilling with a faint yellow colour to get rid of the paper white effect.

I especially like the texture on the water. I might work at reducing the brightness around the sun in future captures.

Thanks much for the feedback! The printer I have consulted had recommended I keep it a bit bright, because the printing will drop the exposure a bit. I only use LR (so far), but I do have an older copy of CC when it went free. I may have to fire it up and see what I can do. The sun does bother me a bit, as well.

I like the rocks and the patterns on the water surface. Perfect choice of shutter speed.
As to the sun spot,  instead of filling it with clouds, I would place there some sea bird or an airplane silhouette.

Good photo, the surf was frozen at the right moment. As for the sun, well, sunsets like this are supposed to be bright, so I like it as is.
