I would prefer the third if they were more centered I think.

Thanks, Murph and Sanjeev. I offset things to try and make them seem more dynamic. I agree that this was not very effective!

I prefer the first image. The formation of the combines looks most to my eye the way custom cutters work a field.

My favourite would be the machines in #1 with the light and sky of #2 or #3... great work.

I'm undecided but my favorite would be either the first or the last imageā¦ They also work very well as a set!

Thanks, everyone, I appreciate the feedback. It was fascinating watching 6-7 combines and two tractors constantly changing position. I have not added the sepia tones here, they are a result of dust and the setting sun.

#1 to my eye is best. #2 is too complicated and the first two combines touch one another making them appear connected. #3 the tower touches the combine-there should be space like in #1, then I would pick 3 as my favorite.
