Stealing photos doesn't just happen to wedding photographers

Of course it doesn't.  there's probably not a decent hard workign professional photographer who hasn't had their work ripped off.

But I thought you be amused by http://blog.dynamoo.com/2014/03/its-fake-bizsummits-cfo-summit-cio.html

Another recent article along the same lines, though without the amusing tone of Ellis's link:

Interesting links.

In the first one what strikes me is that the biz forum/operation the prime mover who responds to say the matter of inappropriate usage of images is and will be sorted out, seems to be unaware of what copyright means and more damning is the fact that that organisation is supposed to be mentoring about "good business practices" if they cannot get such a fundamental element right what hope for the rest of the wisdom they are transferring to others???

How do you think they found where the photos were stolen from?  Is there software or websites that allow you to post a photo and search the web to find other uses of it?

Yes, two prominent ones:

https://images.google.com (click the camera icon in the search field)

The Google link https://images.google.com/ works well. But be prepared to be shocked when you see how many web uses your photo has been used for, both legally and otherwise. I search for some of my images whenever I get in too good a mood.
