Flipbook Advice
« on: April 11, 2014, 01:11:31 pm »

As I do not operate my own brick and mortar gallery, I would appreciate some hints on making a flipbook (basically, a reduced-size portfolio of images for sale, with prices) to display in a local frame and decor shop. My images are 16x20 landscape photographs printed in color on exhibition inkjet paper. I have worked out the book design and page inserts that bespeak a quality presentation, but I am particularly interested in information that should be provided on the pages in the book. Presently, I have a postcard-sized image of the print, a title, and a price. What other inclusions or branding would help the customer make the decision to purchase? I do plan to increment prices gradually over time, and that will entail reprinting insert pages - in case that makes any difference at all.

TIA!
