To the Church ...........

This looks more like Chimayo. I've shot this many-many times making Salt prints.

1 and 4 kick ass when b/w converted with darkening blue channel and playing with reds and yellows.
2 and 3 sort of as well.
5 - not sure.

Cheers

Allow me to introduce a variation I pulled from your color file.
I flipped it to make it comparable to the b/w file.
I made 2 different color adjustments and blended these - sky was converted differently than the lower part.
I also used a local curves on the bright path in the front.
For a final version I might to it a little bit brighter, but I'll stop here and keep the surreal look.
Cheers

Yes, the church is in Chimayo but the pueblo looks like Taos Pueblo.

That's why I needed two conversions mixed together, the black sky conversion ruined the pueblos.
I also needed to convert the file to 16 bit, add grain to the sky and then blur it to get rid of dust bunnies and banding.

I like it.  You did a good job of saddling the white horse with the shadow.
