It all seems like a complete mess. I'm tempted to go to Calumet with a cable and a laptop and see if I can find any camera and lens in the store that will actually focus consistently and buy that..

So I'm off to Nikon house tomorrow with my 3 cameras and 3 lenses and see if we can make any of them focus consistently.. I'll report back.
