Offered here is a great condition Alpa 36mm Switar. Its basically an Alpa branded 35XL, same glass and specs, but with a different, wider front barrel that acts as a lens shade. I have shot with and tested several examples of the 35XL, and this lens far exceeds them in regard to corner sharpness. Several 35XLs I tested were soft on one side, and this 36 Switar beats them all. It has a shutter that is new-ish, about 14 months old and is nice and crisp. All glass is free of defects and it works perfectly mechanically. I recently upgraded to an IQ260 and unfortunately this lens is not a good match for it when shifted. If you are shooting an Alpa TC or don't shift much, this lens is ideal. Great sharpness and very lightweight compared the Rodenstocks. I'll miss it!
