Winter Light Yosemite
« on: January 21, 2014, 10:57:57 pm »

This is looking out at Clouds Rest and Tenaya Canyon.  This was my overnight adventure of the year and considering that it is January, I slept quite warm.  The intense alpinglow is especially good in the winter months.

Nice! It brings back memories of fine alpenglow in Tenaya Canyon back in 1971.

Perfect light  ;D. I may love it more if the lens is a little higher. A bit picky.

Here is another version which I think is much better.  Also I have included an image of the face of Half Dome.  Thanks for the comments.
