Minimalist, and very fine ones!
Agreed. I am really drawn to the third image, but like them all. Nice work Armand.

It might be abstract but it's certainly not ambiguous.
The deathly British , traffic-warden jackpot, instant culpability - 'don't-bother-to-even-whisper-an-excuse', ubiquitous double yellow line !

I like it - (the shot, not the lines ..)

In another thread Rob C prompted me to look up a photo taken some time ago in Vienna and I saw this which at teh time I had dismissed. Now I'm not so sure

Yes, it's certainly abstract.
But it also appears to be what I call the "pure" form of "Street" photography, namely a photograph of a Street. No?
Admittedly, it may not have the kind of ambiguity that Russ Lewis and Henri CB like in their "Street" shots.

NA here is one of my own Abstract "Pure" Street shots:

Eric that was a good find. How could any photographer resist that. I am teased at the club for this type of shot but to me it shows there is beauty all around us, just pause and look at the view.

As already noted, not street shot as Russ means, but certainly a fine BW abstract, whose elements have just the right amount shimmer to make it work.

Took this an outing at Toronto Islands. Didn't get a great sunset, but enough light to capture these undulating waves of gold light and blue water.

Well, John, I don't think that quite qualifies as "Street" as Russ defines it, or even as "Pure Street" as I define it. So maybe it is "Pure Liquid Street."   :D

Anyway, it's lovely.
And abstract.

This is what happens to John's H2O when it cools off a bit.

Yes, new ice is always good for abstracts.

Scott,

Yours looks like the ice skaters dance pattern. Nice.

OK, here's a new one from me, taken just yesterday. (It usually takes me weeks from shooting to processing.)

Love this one, Eric. Simple and effective. Primary lines and shadows, secondary lines, reinforcing the pattern and rhythm.

What is this I said to myself when I got home and looked at it. If I hadn't tried, I never would have got the shot.

RE: Globular, could that also be "Matin" ? Has my brain running...never a controlled activity...loving your "poking in the overlooked and underappreciated" !
