Close Armand. But I don't really know. I was going to say "flowers!" The truth is I get so caught up in the colours, shapes and composition that I barely notice what kind of flowers they were. Of course if I were taking documentary style shots, then I would probably know the name of the flowers. It's been a few years now that I decided, even when the the weather is not that good, I will try some experimental technique to make it all worthwhile or interesting. Not to mention fun!

Excellent work in this thread. Here's my (weak) simple addition, hopefully I'll have more to contribute soon. Picked this one out of the bin so I could play along.

I took this about 4.5 years ago and I don't agree with the choice of PP anymore.

I do that at times too. And at sometimes it's because the software has improved, so I can do a better job that I could then.

Me too. And often it's because I've finally learned how to use the software better.

I don't know if this qualifies for this thread, but I quite like it.

Best viewed large (click through)! I love the overlapping ripples.

I continue to be amazed by the broad range of interpretations of the term 'abstract'.  Some excellent work here!

Yes, abstract for some might not be abstract for the next person… But I like the images so far.

Me too. And I'm delighted that this is one thread that hasn't bogged down in arguments over definitions.
