Yup.
Mulling it over, I think it looks best in its original form.

I like both versions and, of course, abstract enough!

Spectacular!
It reminds me of the first 360° panoramic mirror domes. We could take just one shot (IIRC, with a Nikon CoolPix) and then use software to create something barely usable. Of course, back then, it wasn't meant to create abstracts.

Well done, John.

Thank you guys. I can't take all the credit. This is actually a very beautiful green, white and blue sculpture. What I did was to visually abstract some it in my composition, pointing skyward, trying to balance the darks and lights with the shapes. I could have spent an hour or two there but had to go.

It's probably worth coming back to for more variants.

Both versions are superb.
And they make me curious to see the original scupture.

It's a sculpture called Pine Sanctuary in Missisauga, Ontario. When I discovered it I thought it was one of the best public sculptures I have ever seen. Whimsical, colourful and somewhat abstract all at the same time. No two shapes repeat themselves. It is, rather loosely and figuratively, representive of pine trees in the forest. You can do wonderful things with it if you come back at different times of the day. Here it is:

You may recall back in 2019 I posted a couple from a different outing.

That is great public art, and a fantastic photographic source.
