Was just about to erase my card when I spotted this abstract which I had forgotten about. From my walk the other day.

Nice!

Interesting observation, Rob. OTOH, I have read and seen many reviewers on the net and in articles say that limiting your tools, or using small set of tools enables them to better focus on subjects they can never have thought of doing without those limitations. Such as when we choose to do a project using only one lens, or exploring only one area, etc.

JR

It's all I do these non-pro days; liberating, and focusses the mind. That said "these days" I am carrying nothing. It just doesn't seem to matter anymore. Doing pretty much the same old thing each time just creates more time at the computer, which I feel is better spent exercising the thinking part of the mind, and not just the reflexive actions of the eye. Yes, it's still a pleasure (photography), but requires something different, a bit more rewarding than that to crank it up into motion.

Can you imagine that spring is about to burst?

Thanks, Russ and Peter. I like winter most of the time, Peter. But this has been a winter of discontent for me. And this image and the other two abstracts is from the only outing I have managed this winter. I guess that's life.

I like that one a lot, too, John. And I hope spring brings a change, and that you are able to get out more. For me it looks maybe to be the opposite.

Sorry to hear that, John.  But as a fellow lover of winter, I find the image wonderful.

Thanks everyone. We can only try.

This one has the appearance of organic entanglement. And although it is somewhat entangled, it is mostly in the point of view. It is a multi-exposure chaotic look which I like. On sunny days, I experiment a lot.

Looking at this makes me think it's time to visit my optometrist.

Yea Russ, it is somewhat off. I was too lazy do it one at time and so moved the camera during five exposures. There would be less blur if I did one at a time. It can be effective and sometimes not. I should have posted the dark version.

Thanks Eric. Like the singer, Bill Withers said, "There is always tomorrow."

I had just parked my Prius at a trailhead to local woods. I was about to open the trunk to get my trekking poles out when I saw this, reflected in the rear window and spoiler of the Prius.

A sun ray reflection on the building across the street created a prism effect on my wall. #shotoniphone

Holy shit, Slobodan, are you in prison?
