Harbinger of things to com, Eric!
I like it a lot. How many exposures?

Thanks, John, it printed very nicely, too.
I started with a 10 frame multi-exposure in camera, but took your advice trying to hold on point to get minimal movement.
Worked with the exposure and saturation on that, and experimented with a couple different masked overlays (color and exclusion) of the original image above.
I wanted a tad more definition in the dark tree trunk, so added a pin light overlay of a frame with no ICM at low opacity to provide just a hint of the darker branches.
So that's 11 exposures total. The 8x10 prints turned out great, so going to try a 20x30 canvas print in the next few days. Might put a frame around it! :)

Thanks, John and Eric. I agree with your assessment of what it resembles, but no ice or paintings were involved. (Though we have had a few freezing nights recently.) Just some some of our remaining autumn leaves that had potential, and that I played with until eventually I got to something that looked interesting and appealing to me.
