Nice ones, Eric. I especially like the second. When I blow it up, I see abstracts within an abstract.
As thumb nails, they sure look like images of galaxies. See, Eric is always on a journey.

Thanks, Arlen and John.

Perhaps too colorful and bright. But it is abstract and I do like the color combination.

Thanks Eric. I actually did reduce the saturation. that's what you get when you hit Auto settings.

Here is a more mysterious abstract.

Today's take from a visit to a long-abandoned waste treatment plant.

Well, D.P. Moynihan, the fact is I like both John's and Peter's, for different reasons.

Thanks guys.

I like Peter's image also. May I suggest making the images smaller. Can't get it on my 25" screen! It is well seen as the green and mottled white nicely separates itself from the main subject. I see a man, perhaps accompanied by a second person walking a dog. Not that I look for meaning is such abstracts, but this one jumped out at me once I reduced the image to where I could view the whole.

If I see anything in the image it's a woman with a long dress, perhaps with the train held up behind her.

Yes, I see that now. Perhaps we approach things visually starting from different sides!

I like your version of Rhein II  ;D

That said, the silver(s) & blue combination is elegant.
Well seen.

The very subtle shadows keep it from being too sterile.

Nice work.

Thank you Eric and Francois. Eric I think you have a point. The highlights on the flashing and the shadows do add interest. I noticed the highlights but not the shadows when I took the image. I always tell people, the lens sees all even if you don't.

Spinnerama is a photograph of a spinning fidget spinner. That's why it has a soft, almost out of focus look. OTH, this one was created in software.
