Just wanted to post an update about the trips I'm running with Kevin in July this year up in Svalbard in the High Arctic. For those of you who don't know, we've chartered a newly-refurbished 12 passenger ship, the SS Malmö, for two back-to-back 8 day workshops. They run from July 13-21 and July 21-29.
The ship's looking good, and we're very excited about heading up with such small, intimate groups. The decks of the Malmö are quite low, so for polar bear photography you can get more direct photographs than would be possible on a bigger ship. The Malmö's sister ship recently posted an amusing image that illustrates this very well -
