Burned truck by the road
« on: December 14, 2013, 04:42:53 pm »

Went on a random drive/photo-hunt, drove down my favorite road (for inspiration) and stumbled on this after couple of turns...pretty impressive thing to see in the middle of the night.

Hey Tom, that's a pretty drastic way of making a subject for yourself!

:o  Are there no lengths to which you will not go??

Seriously, nice image.  Sort of like a Ry Cooder album cover.

Yes indeed, I'm fond of that kind of atmospheric stuff; when photography can do these things so well, why is there this obsession with detail, detail and even more detail? It's the content that counts most! Dammit, one can make great images with pretty much anything, and perhaps that's something that forum fans forget.

Ask not which brand and optic, enjoy the gift. Then make your own.
