Capture One and ACR different processing sizes
« on: November 03, 2013, 04:43:27 pm »

Hi, This is my first post here.

I'm familiar with ACR, but I've recently been exploring Capture One. I'm still only getting the hang of it. One thing that I tried to do was to process a raw image in both ACR and CO and bring the two into a working PDF. Problem is, when I process them both at default settings they arrive in PS at different sizes. The CO image is about just over 100px smaller in height and width than the ACR conversion. (file size is indicated as 46cmX31cm @30ppi) I assumed this was to do with lens correction, but I've tried with lens settings disabled to no avail.
Can someone shed light on this?

Just one thing worth checking is that C1 hasn't applied a small degree of cropping. Recently I found that a bunch of images had some arbitrary crop applied. I haven't pinned this one down yet, as it took me a bit by surprise. Worth checking though, although I wouldn't be surprised to hear that your issue is a characteristic of the processing algorithm.

No, It's not cropped. The whole image is there. Its just "pulled in" on all sides.
