Have you installed the latest firmware upgrade? I had a firmware upgrade issue with my old 1D MkII and I'm wondering if the same problem would crop up with this latest upgrade for my 1D MKIV. I use the voice record feature at lot for events. With the original firmware on the MKII I could record to the time limit and then press the record button again to continue recording for the same file. Once I installed the upgrade, I could only record for 30 seconds total, no more. I confirmed this change with Canon and there was nothing they could do to restore the original recording parameters. Before I install this latest upgrade on my MkIV, I want to make sure that won't happen again. Would someone have a moment to check that out for me?
