Recent professional work

...or really any of your favorite images. Since the MF forum has one, I thought  the CSC forum should have one, too.

Nice shot Martin. As a matter of interest did you do much in post on this? The colors are really nice!

John,
I developed it in Capture One with the linear curve. Then I applied the Kodachrome simulation in NIK Color Efex, and did a bit of color grading and selective desaturation. That's about it. Part of the color feel comes from me putting a 1/2 (?) CTO on the modeling light which I used to light the talent.
I hope that helps.

Central Park...watching a hummingbird...nest
« Reply #11 on: June 12, 2014, 09:42:57 pm »

OK professional work - when I am in NYC I lead bird walks in Central Park...here are a few people looking at a Ruby-throated Hummingbird nest - first ever in recorded history in Central Park...and first ever on Manhattan Island (recorded history). Not a rare bird by all means...and increasing for the short-term in NYC.

That's the hummingbird herself in the lower half of the frame.
