Printing from Photoshop CC: print dialog settings

It has been awhile since I've printed from Photoshop (these days I mostly use Lightroom) but I am trying out a new printer andPhotoshop CC and profiles using the Digital Outback Printer Evaluation Image from (http://www.outbackphoto.com/printinginsights/pi048/essay.html)  . I have a question about the printer dialog.

What I have first tried is
1) Rotating  the document, duplicating it, and converting  the duplicate to the profile in PhotoshopCC (using Black Point Compensation and Perceptual as the rendering mode
2) Opening PsCC's print dialog. This is where I am confused. As you can see, even though I  have already converted to the profile I want to test, the dialog appears to be asking me to choose a profile. At this point should I:

A) Choose the profile again along with the Perceptual Rendering and BCP options?

or

B) Stay in the documents original color space and convert in this dialog window?

i know the proof is in the print but am obliged to ask the wiser and more experienced minds in the virtual room.

In case it effects the answer I am Using a Mac running OS X 10.8.4

That's your only option since No Color Management is long gone. You can't use Convert to Profile then use Print, you have to use the 'equivalent' of Convert to Profile in that print dialog.

The first Option - converting to the profile in PsCC, setting BPC and perceptual rendering there as well, and choosing those settings again in the Printing dialog yields a little over all more density range . there is slightly more tone at both the 252 and  tone 12 in the target is slightly lighter.
Color in both prints looks good, not great but I kind of expect the custom profile I created using an 1800 patch target in  i1 Photo Pro to be better. ( if I created a custom target why am I using a canned one? Because it is there)
