It has been awhile since I've printed from Photoshop (these days I mostly use Lightroom) but I am trying out a new printer
andPhotoshop CC
and profiles using the Digital Outback Printer Evaluation Image from (
http://www.outbackphoto.com/printinginsights/pi048/essay.html) . I have a question about the printer dialog.
What I have first tried is
1) Rotating the document, duplicating it, and converting the duplicate to the profile in PhotoshopCC (using Black Point Compensation and Perceptual as the rendering mode
2) Opening PsCC's print dialog. This is where I am confused. As you can see, even though I have already converted to the profile I want to test, the dialog appears to be asking me to choose a profile. At this point should I:
A) Choose the profile again along with the Perceptual Rendering and BCP options?
or
B) Stay in the documents original color space and convert in this dialog window?
i know the proof is in the print but am obliged to ask the wiser and more experienced minds in the virtual room.
In case it effects the answer I am Using a Mac running OS X 10.8.4
