Thanks for the heads up
worthwhile improvement for those needing faster autofocus though "focus peeking" would also be nice for us that dont. Think "focus peeking" will be available with the magic lantern firmware currently at alpha test.

Ultrawide IS lens also nice to have

Canon EOS-M firmware update (version 2.0.2) is now available for download.

Details of changes:
Firmware Version 2.0.2 incorporates the following fixes and improvements.

1. Improves focusing speed in One-Shot AF mode.
2. Now supports EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM.
*When placing the EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM without conducting the firmware update, although rare, at times the EOS M will not function.
3. Corrects errors in the Simplified Chinese, Hungarian, Traditional Chinese and Korean language menus.

The EOS-M + 22mm f/2 STM lens is now selling for $479. The faster focusing with firmware and new 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens make this camera an attractive buy.
