for what my opinion's worth, the more I look at both, the more I like #1.
#2 is probably more striking in terms of light & colour,
but #1 has that "wonder what's around the next bend" feel to it, making it a little more engaging to my mind the longer I look at it.

Now I'm coming around to maybe preferring #1, too.

They're both good and worth spending time viewing them.

Matt, that's exactly how I felt about the pair of them.

Russ, absolutely right: as you walk from the paypoint to the slot, you pass a plaque in memory of 11 (I think) people who didn't take that precaution.
