G15 amazing lens !!!

I'm very happy to see the confirmation that my G15 has an amazing lens.

Here is a comparison of D5200, D5100, RX100, and G15 with delivered Lens of the kits.

OK, in the center D5200 is slightly better than the others, but as soon as you go to towards edge, surprizingly, the G15 is better by a fair amount 

Add to this that G15 Lens is f1.8/f2.8 compared to f3.5/f5.6, you have to admit that the G15 is really underestimated.

So, yes, I'm happy.

Interestingly, the D5100 samples (16MP sensor) look sharper than the ones from D5200 (24MP sensor).
I wonder if this is due to the kit lens, the actual sensor, or image resizing. In other words, would the D5200 with 50mm prime lens be sharper than the D5100?

I don't think that comparing a lens kit with the G15 is a good comparison. Lens kits aren't the best that is why they are sold as a job lot. Try something better for a fairer comparison.

Of course you are right !!

But a lot of people just buy the kit and stay with it !

So I think it's important to show that the G15 lens is far superior several "standard" delivery lenses.
