Lionel Kuhlmann discusses C1
« on: May 16, 2013, 08:38:29 pm »

I have posted the audio for Lionel Kuhlmann's forty-five minute talk on what's new with Capture One here. Lionel is advanced algorithms manager at Phase One, where he is the lead of the image-processing group behind Capture One.  The presentation was part of an April 27 Center for Photographic Art workshop on raw processing. All the audio is available here.

The workshop was videoed. It's harder to edit video than audio, so let's cut the volunteer a little slack. I hope it will be up soon.

Thanks,

Jim

Any chance of getting the video for this? Great to hear the words of such important men but it would be better to see the images they are talking about as well.

The CPA changed web hosting companies a few weeks ago. Sounds like something got lost. I'll check into it.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I found out what happened. The webmasters converted the site to a WordPress-centric model in order to allow non-techies to do updates. In the process they got stuck with a 10 MB file length limit. They're looking at how to fix it.

I hope so too, but I've not seen any sign of the edited video. I could probably get the raw footage (there's an archaic term), but I don't want to edit it myself.  I'll keep looking into it.
