Are there any other improvements, or only scanner profiling module?

I think that's about it. We might discover some new bugs <g>.

Hi,

I just tried profiling an Epson V700 with a ColorChecker SG , using VueScan as driver/scannner application, and the result seems okay (although many of the Yellows had an out of gamut Blue channel < 0). Overall the reported Delta E's were low enough for comfort (0.3-0.5), and visually only one Orange patch looked slightly more saturated after applying and softproofing with all profiles.

Maybe I'll try it on a DSLR as scanner, and see what happens.

Cheers,
Bart

SIPC - Scanner ICC Profile Creator worked better than PM5 or Match3.

Profiled two scanners with the cc24, a reasonably good Microtec 16bit and an inexpensive all-in-one Epson Artisan.  I thought the results were good - interestingly (at least to me) not only did the profile correct color rendition, it also normalized brightness.

The two raw scans were significantly different in the rgb values on the neutral patches; after assigning the respective profiles to the original cc images and converting each to a sRGB, the brightest white patch measured out at 245 on both, second patch 200, etc.  And the colors matched closely, all in all seems to be quite useful.
