C1 v7 importer question

Hi all,

Using C1 v7 on my MacbookPro with 10.6.8, I've disabled the 'open importer when mounting removable media', yet every time I insert a card either from the reader or the built in SD card slot, C1 opens anyway.
No offense to C1, but I use Photo Mechanic for my importing and metadata needs and although it's only slightly annoying, I'd prefer C1 to open only when I want to use it.

Any ideas?

The setting you refer to controls CO7's behavior when running.

Starting the application is controlled by OS X' Image Capture software. Connect your external device, start Image Capture and select No Application for the device.
