rural Netherlands in Spring
« on: January 08, 2013, 01:37:08 pm »

Being busy with putting more Scotland pics on my site, I found out that I totally forgot about a Dutch series of spring 2011. I did some pp, but never but them on the site.
Today I did!  Twente, Spring 2011

Some of the images here.
By the way, I don't like the Dutch landscape so much as the Scottish or Scandinavian landscapes. The warm morning light is giving me something to long for in this grey wet winter we have.

I like the whole set of photos. They depict a peaceful countryside where one wants to have a relaxing walk.

Thanks for this gallery and bravo!

#1 looks like an awesome place, but my favorite is actually #4... great textures.

Reminds me of a trip I had by train between Amsterdam and Utrech a long time ago.
In the morning, on the way out, there were nice healthy looking people riding bikes or walking along on trails. In the evening, on the way back, young and old couples stood looking over fields with very satisfied looking cows grazing. Made me relax just watching it all go by the window.

Then again my neighbor returned this week after visiting family over the holidays, and mentioned the weather is currently nothing like the tranquil and sunny landscapes you captured very nicely. So, better to look at pictures this time of year.

Winter gets more wintery now - brighter skies, lower temperatures, some freezing. Like that better!
