Sonnar 150 CB on DSLR using Arax tilt adapter
« on: January 02, 2013, 12:11:16 am »

Update: Warning! I see quite a lot of problems with flare and ghosting when used outside on my sample!

Hi,

I'm testing a Sonnar 150/4 I bought for 400$ (3000 SEK) against stuff I have for my Sony cameras.

Adaption is made using an "tilt" adapter from Arrax, so I can use Scheimpflug principle to increase DoF:

I may add, that the stuff is not very practical, but it indicates that at least some Hasselblad lenses are quite usable on DSLRs. I am clearly impressed by the Sonnar, by the way!

Best regards
Erik

Hi,

Some minor updates done.

Enclosed pair of images indicates flare sensitivity (on an overcast day with no lens shade). I have a lens shade on order, hopefully it will help!

Best regards
Erik
