Have used this display successfully with PC's since 2006. However my latest newly built PC refuses to boot with this display plugged in. It will boot up with another VGA or DVI display which I can unplug and plug in the Apple and it is fine until I have to reboot again. The video card in the new PC is the same old one from my previous machine which booted perfectly with the Apple.
Has anyone come across this before with the Apple Cinema Displays or know of a cause and/or solution to the problem. I am wondering about the lower resolution required by the mobo at boot time and whether the Apple will not support this and problems occur for that reason.
