Lovely portrait and what looks to me to be superb exposure and treatment. The far left edge - would a slight crop to the edge of the table be better? It hardly matters.

The view of the table though the wet window is brilliant.

Thanks ahh the humidity in Key West can lead to some interesting images.
Walked out on our balcony of the place we were renting
Without the lens fog
Another view from or balcony

Allen I have missed this thread for a couple of weeks. Those shots on 15th November at the top of this page are crackers. You do get out and capture some good images.

Excellent patience for the lip shot
It must have taken some time to get that just right.

Thanks Mike and it wasn't that long. 6 different people walking by in a matter of 2 minutes maybe. This shot she turned her head and I thought it was a miss until I saw later how her face lined up perfectly with the lips. I am constantly working on my timing. There was one other one that worked but now near as well.

What's the shutter lag like on the Leica. With my Fuji on full manual and OVF it seems pretty much film speed.

None. Once its on and up. I couldn't get the shots I get if there was shutter lag.

I thought that might be the case. Both Fuji's can do it but only on manual everything and I think OVF as it fannies about a bit with the EVF - hang on I'll try now ... No looks like I'm wrong with the Xpro anyway. It seems pretty much identical EVF or OVF.

Well the Leica isn't an option I can consider
I like the XPro but love the X100. It just works.

I finally got my MM 246 a couple of week back. It is certainly the best looking digital camera I have owned, and initial results looks good, but I need some time to do some more serious photography, and I won't get that over the holidays.
