New Samyang UWA - 14mm T/3.1

The 14mm lens is discussed further down the page.

Looks interesting - it's a video lens (T3.1 probably means a f/2.8 physical aperture) but covers full frame and can be used to take stills. If they've managed to correct the moustache distortion while retaining the sharpness of the original, it might be the new UWA prime of choice.

Anyone tried it yet?

That looks sweet, especially for $449.00. My guess is that because it is a cine lens the focusing helical must be relatively long and smooth. If that is the case it is most welcome news. I'd rather use t-stops than calculated f-stops. This could be awesome.
