Photokina 2012 - Wrust, Frust or WURST ?
« on: September 19, 2012, 06:46:26 am »

Nick sending his reports at night from his hotel room after lots of WRUST and PILS sounds a bit like lots of FRUST. (?)
I hope he meant WURST !?

Too many PILS seem to induce temporary dyslexia… hence WRUST!

Hi,

Because Photokina is in Cologne, I don't think he is enjoying PILS, but Kölsch änd ne halve Hahn.

I know a lot of people having problems using "Kölsch" and "enjoying" together in a single sentence.
SCNR.

Ciao, Walter

Sorry, you shouldn't use KÖLSCH, but drink and enjoy it - also with friends !

No, no... I think the proper spelling would be WORST (Photokina ever, that is) ;)

You people are merciless - which is why we love you.

I'm actually sticking to fajitas and Kolsch to get me through the nightly writing. Speaking of which, back to work - that Reichmann guy is a terrible speller and a wicked slave driver  ;)

Nick,
after your Lunarcy trip all your Wrust & Frust is forgiven.
Enjoy your Kölsch & WURST and give us couch potatoes more interesting Photokina reports.

I actually had the pleasure to have had a brief chat with Nick at the Fuji booth. How to make out Nick amongst thousands of people you say? Well, easy ..D800e over his left shoulder, bag and bottled water over the other (that Sony booth is really hot) and a program in hand but most importantly... he is the fastest man walking there in trying to cover all that is there. And man believe me that place is big and not many places to sit, many halls even have basements also filled with exhibitors so it is even nearly twice the surface you would expect from the floorplan.
I gotta hand it to you Nick, I was only there one day and was just knackered. So Mike give him a pat on the shoulder and buy him a beer on return ;)
