This may be good enough (Sony compact full-frame with fixed 35mm f2 $2,800).

Probably bigger but f2.0 instead of 2.8 (and no viewfinder)

My Rollei 35 can't be as big as a Canon G10. This looks somewhat larger

One thing for sure is the lens is way bigger than the lens on the Rollei 35 which also retracts nicely.
