Dear Michael,
I want to add my good wishes to those before and after me on this forum. Even your brief sojourn away from the web leaves a hole. But now that I know the reason for your temporary silence, I wish only that you take all the time you need to fully recover and regain your strength. Be well and thanks for all you've done to help me appreciate the technology and art of photography.

Michael, best wishes to you and hoping and praying for a speedy and complete recovery. After all, you have to manage Jeff Schewe in those Lightroom videos!

Michael,
I'd like to add my voice to the Chorus of good wishes and hope for a speedy recovery. I suddenly lost sight in my left eye nearly a year ago, which turned out to be due to a faulty valve in my heart, which has now been replaced ! So I have some understanding of how suddenly life (and health) can change... I have learned so much from your website alone, let alone your Lightroom videos
. Always informative, stimulating and inspiring. As we say in Scotland, "Lang may your Lumb reek !!".
Regards,
Mungo

Once again, my sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone for your thoughts, stories and support.
I'm now on Day 8 at home post surgery, and getting stronger, but there's a long road ahead.
