I was set up to take a shot of some moored boats, but they were really quite boring; the air was quite thick with humidity and I was at a place generally littered with fishermen but nary a soul moved, a leaf going a flutter, a random cloud to drift by. It was just dead. I sarted to leave and when I turned on heel, I saw this shot.
"All that's left to do is roll up the sidewalks"
Odd goings on. In photoshop, this image is quite perfect on my monitor but between translations in Flickr, it lost about 15-20% of its clarity in color and exposure value. To get it closer to the monitor setting (which by the by has been quite accurately calibrated, is brand new, and matched quite lovely to my Epson printer), I had to do some funky monkey stuff, thusly seen here and even it has lost some of its zeal. Can anyone explain why as I do not seem to see this much variation im shots made in sunlight?
