Personally I find LR is usually better than PS for things LR can do. So resize, sharpen etc I do in LR. I use PS only for things requiring complex selections, complex layer operations, major use of clone or heal, combining images etc. But as other say, that's a round tri: "Save" in PS (not "Save As") so it's saved as a TIF and stacked with the original in LR. Final output (print, export, create web site etc) I do in LR.
