A note of thanks...
« on: May 27, 2012, 12:03:10 am »

Just a quick note of thanks to Chris for getting the LR4 video tutorial out the door this weekend....while Chris tends to hide behind the camera (well, he has to since he's running the darn camera) it's really the multiple video and audio sources Chris puts together in the final edit that makes it all watchable...thanks Chris!

I agree!  Thanks Chris.  The videos are very nice to listen to and to watch.  Super job.

I will thank Chris, and you two as well, since the videos have become the industry standard in Lightroom and digital darkroom, as far as I am concerned. I really enjoyed it, as always, and I ended up very thirsty. Not for margaritas, but for more videos. Well, for Margaritas too, or in my case a good bottle of Argentinian wine  :P

Well, I'm currently downloading the last 4 files.  I think thanks and congratulations are due not only to Chris, but to you and Michael for another winner.

Every time I go back to a module I had already seen, I learn additional things.  I have never seen tutorials  that have the excellent mix of what the features are, how to use them, enough of the under-the-hood information and concepts so that I can utilize the features creatively and efficiently, and just enough humor to keep the motivation level high.  Wow!

Beside that, no to tell that Michael or Jeff may not try the acting career, but Chris' voice is Hollywood worth. A pleasure for the woofer! :)

Yeah, funny how his British accent is still there after what, 50 years in Canada? Sure makes him sound smart, doesn't it?

Quite apart from the quality of the material itself, I must remark on the efficiency of the order fulfillment process and the massive reduction of download time required for these large files. It's truly remarkable and makes it a pleasure to do business with LULA. Clearly a lot of smarts and hard work went into making all this possible.

Yeah, right...but neither the time nor inclination to use them (no matter how much fun they would be)!

I would like to thank all involved with the making of the videos. I have LR3, C2PS and LR4 tutorials. Now that LR4 is complete I can't wait for LR5 so I can order the next videos. Keep up the great work.

Walt
I guess it would look that way from just that post, but being retired now almost all my time goes to photography trips, PP, and learning. I still have my other hobbies, an extensive video collection (1700), 92" screen for viewing and my interest in all things computer (PC) related. This is not an upset response to your post but just a fleshing out of my interests. I look forward to learning from Jeff and Michael as well as the presentation edited by Chris. I constantly replay the videos that I already own and always learn something new that I missed the last time I viewed and it only makes me want more.

I just registered so I could respond in this thread and tell you and all of the crew how excellent the LR4 videos are. I am new to the LR4 program--with your help I feel like an old hand (or at least less like a noob). The videos were not only instructive, but also fun  :) yes fun! After 6 or 7 hours with you guys I wish I could join you in SMdA for a margarita.

Cheers and best wishes for continued success and more videos.
