Yep, and the fact that it was all pre-PS says a lot for the reasons that make the pix memorable. Today's lot, painted with electrons, is a homogenous whole, a bland, anodyne and, literally in many cases, eminently forgettable melt of plastic.

The shot of The Who reminds me why Keith Moon could have made it as a Python as well as a great rock drummer.
