Possible Memory Leak in CaptureONE PRO 6.3.4 PC 64-Bit Win 7

Dear LULA users of CaptureONE PRO,

My name is Ronald and I am trying to rally to see if you are also experiencing a possible memory leak on the latest iteration of 6.3.4, as referenced in the PhaseONE User-to-User Forum: http://forum.phaseone.com/En/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=12062.

On my Win7 SP1 Home Premium system, I have 16 GBs of RAM installed. My processor is the Intel Core 95 750 @ 2.67 GHz. My files are on my secondary, internal hard drive.

Method: Using about 144 Canon 7D files, I executed the Web Contact Sheet. File >> Web Contact Sheet.

I took note of the ImgCoreProcess.exe (by pulling up Windows Task Manager) and I monitor the GB residency. I object that during the Web Contact Sheet creation, the ImgCoreProcess.exe goes up to 5.3X GBs and remains at this amount even though the contact sheet is completed. 5 GBs is a lot of memory to be in stasis and idle. To remedy, I had to exit CaptureONE PRO and restart the session to continue my workflow.

My request is the following: if you have similar observation as myself and Jim (PhaseONE User-to-User Member), will you please submit a case report to PhaseONE and bring this performance impedance and inconvenience to their attention.

Thank you for your time to help myself and Jim know that we're not the only ones experiencing this odd software behavior.

Yours sincerely,

Ronald Nyein Zaw Tan
