Blue Ridge Pkwy North Carolina
« on: February 29, 2012, 03:14:13 pm »

Looking for scenic overlooks along the Pkwy between the Smokys and Boone. I'd like to be there for an extended weekend this Spring, and possibly Fall. Interested mostly in sunsets, possibly some water falls with easy paths. Would also love to be there when the rhododendrons are in bloom. Any tips, advice, or suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Glenn Cove Viaduct area.  However, it faces east and photographs best at sunrise.

But this is what you really need...
