I fully agree with the general notion of the cited post, but in case of the image we have here I have another view.
The rocks are a bunch of rocks arranged by humans to keep off the sea.
If the graffiti would not be there it would cause the illusion, that the formation might not be human made.
The trace of the "intelligent ape" is a disturbance, which not only brings some truth into the image it also breaks up the scheme.
I think the grafitti a very important part of the image and I would strongly recommend not to try to clone it out.
Even your irritation is a part of the impact of the image.
"Tainted beauty" we might call the effect.
You can only be irritated, because you admire nature and have this background of living in a polluted civilization.
So - as understandable your irritation is - it just underlines how strong the image is WITH the grafitti.
