I just replaced my Matte black cartridge on my 7880. I get a message that the media does not match with the installed cartridge. I look in the Epson settings and it shows a Photo cartridge installed. This has happened before and I fixed it by disconnecting the printer, going to the Options Information button on the Utility tab in the Printer settings and choosing MK. I closed the tab and then it showed MK installed and I continued printing.
This time it would not accept that so I changed the setting back to Photo. I then was able to print. The crazy thing is I never had to do a black ink changeover and I now have all papers available even though I have MK installed.
Anyone have any ideas?
