I believe that they used similar things for early cinema and
movie making
...
If you could create a Micro 4/3rds camera with a 24/35/50 or 35/50/85 equivalent, it would be quite a good idea...
alternatively they could use something like the
Leica Tri-Elmar
I would buy one if the quality was ok...
