Filter system Lee / Cokin 24mm with shift and vignetting.
« on: November 11, 2011, 09:10:05 am »

I'm thinking about ditching all my standard filters and start using a filter system instead. 100mm wide filters with corresponding holder (from Lee or Cokin) seems to be the way to go. Who knows, I might start using graduated filters instead of HDR too (actually some digital photographers still seem to use graduated filters, but I have got the impression that they are quite few), but even if not using graduated filters those filter systems seem faster to work with than screwing around with filter threads.

My problem is however that it is hard to find out what vignetting problems there are. Ideally I want to be able to use a slide-in polarizer, two filters and shift a TS-E 24mm II at least 8 of the 12 mm on full-frame without any added vignetting (than there already is in the lens). I'm ok if the system do not work with wider angle than 24mm.

And what about lens hood, are the bellows hoods any good?
