Raw vs. Jpeg differentiation on dual saves of the same shot
« on: September 24, 2011, 05:50:47 pm »

My Olympus E-PL1 micro 4/3 takes both Jpeg and Raw (.ORF) of the same single exposure.  But I only see one file called ORF + JPEG in Library.  When I switch to Develop, which file is opening?  How do I select either JPEG or RAW to work on?   Any criteria I should be using when adjusting one over the other?   Thanks.  Alan.

One way to show them separately:

I checked it but it made no difference.  Each file is identified as ORF + JPEG.

Could that be because the files were already imported.  This check is an Import Option.  Do I have to
re-import?  How would I do that if that is the case.

OK I figured it out.  I had to Remove all the pcitures from the LR (but not delete the files from the Windows folder) and then re-import (sync).  LR then  created separate files for each RAW and each JPEG.  Thnaks for you help.  Alan
