Canon IPF 8300 and Mac Lion
« on: September 17, 2011, 11:22:15 am »

Anyone using Lion yet with the 8300 and if so are there any issues, especially with very long prints.

And, by the way what IS the max length of this printer out of the Canon PS plug-in with CS5?

I'm surprised as well, quite a few on the forum print from Macs to Canon.

I'm not using a Canon, but just a thought.  Apple didn't change much to the core printing between Snow Leopard and Lion, and I've only seen a few "anomalies" with a few users and their printers when updating to Lion.  Epson didn't have to update their recent drivers to make it work.

Yeah, I know ... not much help.   Maybe you could clone your hard drive before updating just to be safe.

Thanks Wayne,

Yea it seems like people using Epson's are already switched over.

I think I'll try to contact Canon and see what they have to say. It is a good price for the Lion update so I'll considering it.
