Printing on back of glossy papers w/ Z3200
« on: August 11, 2011, 02:42:05 pm »

Any one had any luck with this? Tips re: papers, ink settings, etc. I'm trying to print just black/gray text on the back for cards, mailers, etc., so no need for color accuracy.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Avoid RC papers. The backside barrier if based on Polyethylene will not give any bond. With all printing technologies PE gets a Corona or flame treatment shortly before it is printed.

Ernst,

Maybe a quick pass with a torch would get the back to the correct dynes? ;)
